Introduction #
Product Categories Target allows you to apply promotions to entire WooCommerce product categories.
Instead of selecting individual products, you can target one or more categories and automatically include all products assigned to those categories.
This targeting method is ideal when:

How Product Categories Target Works #
Product Categories Target evaluates the categories assigned to each WooCommerce product.
When a product belongs to a targeted category, it becomes eligible for the promotion.
Ezhance follows this process:
- Select categories to include.
- Apply any exclusion rules.
- Build the final target list.
- Evaluate Eligibility Rules.
- Apply the promotion.
Only products that belong to the final category selection can receive the promotion.

In this example, we will apply a discount to all Hoodie products.

Configuring Product Categories Target #
Navigate to:
Ezhance → Promotion → Target Selection
Choose:
Product Categories
Then select one or more WooCommerce categories.

After saving the promotion, all products assigned to the selected categories become eligible.
Targeting A Single Category #
The simplest setup is targeting one category.
Example:

Result:
Every product assigned to the Hoodies category receives the promotion.
This is commonly used for:

Targeting Multiple Categories #
You can target multiple categories within a single promotion.
