Requirements
Before installing Ezhance, ensure your environment meets these requirements:
- WordPress 6.0 or higher
- WooCommerce 8.0 or higher
- PHP 7.4 or higher
- Administrator access to your WordPress dashboard
Keep all software at the latest stable versions for best compatibility.
Step 1 — Download
Obtain Ezhance from the WordPress Plugin Repository (free version) or from ezhance.app (Pro version). You'll receive a ZIP file to upload to WordPress.
Step 2 — Upload and Install
- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin.
- Click Upload Plugin.
- Select the Ezhance ZIP file and click Install Now.
If installing the Pro add-on, repeat this process for ezhance-pro.zip after installing the free plugin.
Step 3 — Activate
Click Activate Plugin after installation. An Ezhance menu item will appear in your WordPress admin sidebar.
Step 4 — Verify WooCommerce Integration
Navigate to Ezhance → Promotions. If you can access the promotion builder, Ezhance has integrated with WooCommerce successfully.
Step 5 — Configure Global Settings
Go to Ezhance → Settings and review the default configuration before creating your first promotion. Key settings to check:
- Price Source — Whether discounts apply to regular or sale prices.
- Product Discount Strategy — How multiple product promotions interact.
- Cart Discount Strategy — How cart-level promotions interact.
Troubleshooting Installation Issues
Ezhance menu not appearing
Refresh the dashboard and confirm the plugin is activated under Plugins → Installed Plugins. Also verify WooCommerce is installed and active.
WooCommerce not detected
Ezhance requires WooCommerce. Install and activate WooCommerce first, then reactivate Ezhance.
Promotion builder not loading
Check your browser console for JavaScript errors. Try temporarily disabling other plugins to rule out a conflict, and ensure your PHP version is 7.4 or higher.
