Display components — offer cards, tier pricing tables, countdown timers, progress messages, savings messages, and BOGO reward cards — only appear when the promotion is eligible. If a display isn't showing, work through this checklist.
Quick Checklist
- Promotion is Active
- You're viewing a product that matches the target selection
- Eligibility rules are passing for your current session
- The display component is enabled in the promotion's Display settings
- Promotion schedule is active
- Ezhance Pro is installed (if using Pro display components)
Common Causes
Promotion is not Active
Display components won't render for inactive promotions. Set the promotion to Active in Ezhance → Promotions.
Product doesn't match target selection
Offer cards and other product-page displays only appear for products in the target selection. If you're viewing a product that isn't targeted, no display will show. Verify the current product is in the target list and not excluded.
Eligibility rules are failing
If the promotion has eligibility rules (e.g., Cart Subtotal ≥ $100, Customer Role = VIP), the display components may not appear until those conditions are met. Test by removing all eligibility rules temporarily.
Display component is disabled
In the promotion editor, go to the Display tab and verify the specific component (Offer Card, Tier Pricing Table, Countdown Timer) is enabled.
Countdown Timer has no end date
Countdown Timers require a valid promotion end date to calculate the countdown. If no end date is set, the timer won't render.
Tier Pricing Table requires a Bulk Discount
The Tier Pricing Table display only works with Bulk Discount promotions. Verify that the promotion type is Bulk Discount and that the discount tiers are correctly configured.
Pro display components require Ezhance Pro
The following display components require Ezhance Pro:
- Countdown Timer
- BOGO Reward Card
- Progress Message Card
- Order Coupon Voucher
Plugin or theme conflict
Some themes or optimization plugins (caching, CSS minimizers) can prevent display components from rendering. Test with the default WooCommerce theme (Storefront) and temporarily disable other plugins to identify conflicts.
Display position not visible
In some themes, the default display position may not render correctly. Check Ezhance → Settings → Product Page Display and try an alternative position setting.
Troubleshooting Approach
- Create a simple test promotion with no eligibility rules, targeting a specific product
- Enable the Offer Card display
- View the targeted product page and confirm the offer card appears
- If it works, add eligibility rules back one by one to find which rule is preventing the display
- For Pro components, verify Ezhance Pro is installed and the promotion type supports the component
