Use Case
Protect Margins with Safer WooCommerce Promotions
Promotions that run without margin checks, stacking controls, or abuse prevention can cost more than they generate in revenue. Ezhance includes structural safeguards that help you run promotions profitably — not just aggressively.
Built-In Margin Protection
Every Ezhance promotion includes tools to evaluate margin risk before launch and limit discount exposure after.
A 0–100 score evaluating margin safety, stacking risk, purchase threshold, abuse control, offer clarity, and data confidence — before you publish any promotion.
Learn more →Discount Strategy settings control how multiple simultaneous promotions interact — preventing unintended compounding discounts.
Learn more →Target only products with stored gross margin above a minimum threshold — so your promotions never apply to products that can't support the discount.
Learn more →Automatically exclude products that already have a WooCommerce sale price from additional promotions — preventing double-discounting.
Learn more →Per-promotion and per-customer usage limits cap exposure — especially important for BOGO and cart discount campaigns.
Learn more →Cart subtotal and customer conditions restrict who qualifies — reducing abuse risk and limiting promotion exposure.

- Store gross margin percentages on products using the _ezhance_gross_margin meta field — the Offer Safety Score margin category uses this data.
- Set stacking to "first-matched" or "highest-discount" rather than "all-stack" to prevent compounding discounts.
- Use margin range targeting (Pro) to exclude products below a minimum margin from broad promotional campaigns.
- Review the Safety Score on every promotion before publishing — aim for 70+ on broad campaigns.
- Set per-customer usage limits on BOGO and cart discount promotions to limit single-customer abuse.
- Enable sale item exclusion (Pro) on category-wide promotions so already-discounted items don't receive additional promotions.
Offer Safety Score — Margin Safety Category
The Margin Safety category (35 points) is the largest component of the Offer Safety Score. It uses price-weighted gross margin of your targeted products to score margin risk.
